star Wojciech Szczesny has taken a major dig at former club by claiming Aaron Ramsey was wasting his career at the Emirates.
The Welshman joined the Serie A giants on a free transfer last summer after a decade in north .
Szczesny spent eight years with the Gunners before making the move to Turin following a two-year loan spell with Roma.
The pair are now team-mates at Juventus, where Szczesny has won four trophies in just two years in Italy.
Speaking to Ramsey about the move to Turin, the Polish goalkeeper couldn’t resist a dig at his former club as he backed the Welshman’s decision as he was ‘winning nothing’ with the Gunners.
‘When you come here you get the feeling of how important it is to win,’ Szczesny told .
‘When you change the club you arrive at some point in your career where you just want to win trophies.
‘It’s good being part of a young project of hopes for the future. But we’re the same age we’re 29 and at some point you say you’ve got six or seven years of your career left and you just want to the championship, fight for the and challenge yourself.
‘It’s not good just playing for the same team for 10 or 20 years and winning nothing.
‘You’ve [Ramsey] won a little bit, you’ve scored a couple of goals at Wembley.’
Szczesny earned a move to Juventus after an impressive two years with rivals Roma.
The 30-year-old has matured into one of the finest stoppers in Europe and he said he discovered the size of the club when he played away games in Turin with Roma.
‘I remember playing for Roma turning up in the away dressing room at and you turn up and all the trophies are written on the wall as you go into the away dressing room and you’re just like ‘f**k this’ we’re not winning here,’ said Szczesny.
‘I lost 1-0 both times and I was like both time ok this club is big.’
