Today‘s weather is 10 degrees warmer than yesterday

Today‘s hot weather might make your air conditioned, quarantined home feel a bit cozier.

WRAL‘s Peta Sherwood says in the afternoon temperatures will be in the mid-80s. That‘s 10 degrees warmer than yesterday.

But that hot, sunny weather won‘t last long…

The high pressure system will move out of the area on Sunday night, and the low pressure system will move across the state — bringing clouds and cooler temperature with it.

Monday will be a bit cooler, and the southern North Carolina counties might even get some light showers tomorrow morning.

Tuesday and Wednesday expect some thunderstorms and temperatures between 65 and 70 degrees. But after Wednesday, the week ahead is looking dry.
