Dez Bryant has some choice words about the Cowboys’ .
on Saturday, the former Cowboys receiver called out Dallas brass after they agreed to a one-year deal with former Bengals quarterback Andy Dalton, while starter Dak Prescott remains without a long-term contract.
“Nothing against Andy dalton because I think he’s a great player..but the cowboys are extremely out of line… Pay Dak… I watched the cowboys pay Tony [Romo] Twice once without a winning rec… I guess the cowboys viewing the QB position a plug in piece because of the dominant offense,” .
Dalton, who after nine seasons, joins Dallas with a $3 million base deal, which can be worth up to $7 million, . Though 32-year-old Dalton will serve as Prescott’s backup, Bryant noted the 26-year-old Prescott deserves a new paycheck.

“The cowboys offense can be special… you can place anybody in that offense if they screw up with that much talent on the field they don’t deserve to play QB.. But Dak is the guy for the position… he earned that,” .
“Dak should have been signed… rightfully so,” the wideout continued
Bryant, who has not played in a game since 2017, last month, fueling rumors of a Cowboys reunion.
As for Prescott’s future in Dallas, contract talks had resumed with both parties, , and will have until July 15 to come to a deal. If not, the quarterback will play under the franchise tag for the season.
The Cowboys have since inked Prescott’s offensive weapons, running back Ezekiel Elliott and wide receiver Amari Cooper, .
